Trade options in San Francisco! We launched a chapter of The Dorian Way in the Bay Area for the camaraderie that comes with learning as a group.
Trader Expectations
Traders learn many aspects of trading options on futures and stock. In addition, members take a deep-dive into the options greeks like delta and theta. Members learn terminology, like “options chain” and more advanced concepts like the calendar spread. Lastly, members learn several ways to hedge a portfolio. From time-to-time, participants meet like-minded traders for a hosted happy hour for options traders.
Teachers First.
People who join us in San Francisco for an options trading event are from all experience levels. For example, some trade options full time as day traders. Others are just starting out and learning basic options terminology, like delta, for the first time.
Facilitators of the San Franciso Options Trading Group for Monthly Income have, collectively, over 30 years of options trading experience. Because of this, you learn from traders who spend day and night thinking about options. These coaches are prepared to guide you in all aspects of options trading. For instance, facilitators teach you how to put on your first trade. They also help you troubleshoot your portfolio. In other words, you’re bound to find new ways to bolster your portfolio with supplemental income.

Where can I learn to trade options in San Francisco?
Events are held throughout the Bay Area. In-person events are typically held in a WeWork conference room. Social distancing and public safety considerations are factored into the event set-up. Members who prefer virtual events will find several suitable options to fit their schedule.
What do I need to bring with me?
Bring your laptop and a notebook to a San Francisco Options event. Eventually, you will need an account on thinkorswim or tastyworks. Even if you don’t have an account, we can help you get set up. The most important thing is that you show up with perseverance and a willingness to learn.
