If you’ve been wondering if you can learn to trade options in Philadelphia, you can! The Dorian Way created a local group with you in the mind — the trader who wants to make money!
Participants in The Dorian Way – Philadelphia events can anticipate several in-person workshops. Online opportunities are also available. At these events, members will connect and learn about options trading. In addition, members have the chance to make friends and share trade ideas.
What can you expect at an event?
Our Philadelphia members learn how to get better at trading options on futures and stock. First, members will learn specific, basic strategies. This includes standard call and put spreads, naked puts and calls, and the iron condor. However, some members will be ready for more advanced strategies. They will learn several hedging strategies, for example. Next, members will learn how to maximize a portfolio. This means reliable income month-over-month! Finally, members can expect to connect with other like-minded traders.
Member Profile.
People who join us in Philadelphia for an options trading event are from all backgrounds. For example, some people trade options full time as day traders. Others are beginners who are learning basic options terminology, like “put” and “call,” for the first time.
We are teachers first.
Facilitators of the Philadelphia Options Trading Group for Monthly Income have, collectively, over 30 years of options trading experience. Because of this, you learn from traders who spend day and night thinking about options. These coaches guide you in all aspects of options tradings. For instance, facilitators teach you how to put on your first trade. They also help you troubleshoot your portfolio. In other words, you’re bound to find new ways to bolster your portfolio with supplemental income.

Where are events held?
Events are held throughout the area. In-person events are typically held in a WeWork conference room or other co-working space. Social distancing and public safety considerations are factored into the event set-up. Members who prefer virtual events will find several great options to fit their schedule.
What do I need to bring with me?
The most important thing is that you show up with perseverance and a willingness to learn. Otherwise, bring your laptop and a notebook to a Philadelphia Options event. You will ultimately need an account on thinkorswim or tastyworks. But don’t worry, even if you don’t have an account, we can help you get set up.
